In Memory of...2013

Another year goes by...2013 was actually pretty productive for me with a lot of work being done behind the scenes.  I'm getting near to releasing "In Memory of..." which is a musical tribute to my father, who passed away in 2009.  He went into a coma and passed away while I was still trying to get on an airplane.  There were many things I wish I would have and could have said to him before he passed.  In a way, "In Memory of..." represents that.

I'm also working on a couple other projects.  This year, I'm going to crack the whip and actually try to force myself to release an album or two.  That's not really how I normally work, seeing as I've been working a couple albums for years now but I'd like to get some of my work "out there" and increase my exposure.

I haven't really being tending to the blog very well.  This is "Dreaming Again" which I originally created in September last year.  It's sort of pseudo-electronica/trance with a Tangerine Dream-ish sort of vibe to it.

Space must be nice...

Well, it's a been a while and I've been busy but I decided to flex the old music muscles recently and crank out a new tune.  I've been in a lul ever since a few years back when my master hard drive crashed and then miraculously a few months back it just decided to start working again.  Good thing I didn't throw it out!

Continuing with some of my past trance/electronica/ambient themes I dub this tune, "Space Must be Nice".  This is a rough, unmastered mix but destined to take a well-deserved spot in my soon (sometime, eventually, whenever I feel like it) to be released album.

Also, I made this picture with some stars and a robot from scratch.  Enjoy! :P

I decided to migrate my website/blog over to Blogger/Blogspot because:

1. It's an awesome service.

2. It's free.

3. I'm lazy.

So this is the new official website.  The turnover was surprisingly quick and simple but like I said Blogger is awesome...as long as you know how to use it.

Scratch Samples Volume One Released

Scratch Samples Volume One is a collection of 40 original samples voiced by DJ Colletta, in a hilarious white-bread "travelogue" announcer voice.  It also includes some classic samples such as "Fresh" voiced by Colletta.
The release includes a 'Vinyl' version and a 'Clean' version.  The album is available as a free download in high quality 320kb.

Club Heaven

I've started production on a "heavenly inspired" album of trance and club anthems that Saint Peter would spin at the pearly gates! :P

Once the album is finished, I'm planning on releasing it through all major digital music retailers along with a possible CD release.  Does anyone still buy those things?  I see them at the store...but...I'm not so sure.
